Cottage
This little cottage is made out of the building
material earth (instead of burnt bricks).
I designed it for myself. It is located in
Bugiri district in my village.
The technique used is adobe (sun-dried earth
blocks).
I designed this house as a way of getting
acquainted with the specificities of building with adobe.
I also joined the builders in actual construction,
a task that I found very stimulating and educative.
